Many years ago Sir Isaac Newton made a working model of our solar system. At it's center was a large golden ball representing the sun, and revolving around it were the planets - smaller spheres attached at the ends of rods of varying lenghts. A friend who did not believe in the biblical account of creation stopped by for a visit. Watching as Newton made the tiny planets move in their orbits, the man exclaimed, "My, what an exquisite thing! Who made it?" Without looking up, Newton replied, "Nobody." "Thats right! These balls and cogs and belts gears just happened to began revolving in their set orbits with perfect timing."
The believer got the message! It was foolish to suppost that the model merely happened. But it was even more senseless to accept the theory that the earth and the vast universe came into being by chance. How much more logical to believe the Word of God, which says. " In the beginning God created the Heavens and the earth " (Genesis 1:1).
The Bible also declares, "The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God" (Psalm 14:1) . Even reason itself clearly points to the God of creation!

A CALL FOR REPENTENCE
God is not pleased with America. The people has abandoned the Lord The God who bought you out of Egypt and have served others gods. That is why these disasters (economic crisis, job losses, war, crime, etc.) have come upon you.
When we think of the fallen economic crisis America is experiencing we should wonder why. Besides poor planning and structuring America has turned from God. In -2 Chronicles 7:14 God states, " if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
In order for this country's economy to be corrected, jobs and peace be restored we must put first things first. God is first (Matthew 6:33). We must put Him there. Then we will see a more abundant, productive, and peaceful country. Say Amen Somebody. ____________________________________________________________________________________________
As Christians, we must learn to make choices that reflect our relationship with our new Father in Heaven, and not our old master, Satan. God wants us to reflect the image of our Savior Jesus Christ. That's something we cannot do for ourselves, just by making good choices. It requires the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.
In 2 Corinthians 3:18, Paul said this transformation occurs when we practice beholding "the glory of the Lord." This means making Jesus, the focal point of our lives and submitting fully to Him as our Lord.
No matter what has happened in your past, are you letting God shape your present and your future?

The word place in that verse for today is significant. The devil cannot gain a foothold in an area of our life that the Holy Spirit controls. When we are saved, we receive the Holy Spirit, yet it is possible for a true believer to "give place" to Satan. The only remedy is to be "filled with the Holy Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18), which means to be completely surrendered to the will of God.

Thru Joshua God said: Choose ye this day, Jesus said much, much more.
15: And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
21: And the people said unto Joshua, "Nay; but we will serve the LORD."
When Joshua gave Israel the choice of serving God or Satan, he did so knowing full well that to chose God meant living a separate and Holy Life according to the law. When Jesus gave us the same challenge in Matthew 6:24, You can not serve two masters, ... you can not serve both God and the god of this world. He too went on and articulated what it would take to choose Him over Satan.
Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father which is in heaven.
God said you need to make a choice. Will you choose God or Satan. You cannot go to heaven straddle the fence. Tomorrow may be too late. God offers life, but Satan offers death. Choose life now.
